Carrie Regan is a seasoned global leader with over 25 years of experience building successful international partnerships and managing multicultural teams around the world.
During her tenure at National Geographic Television, Carrie organized expeditions to some of the world’s most challenging locations, leading international crews from the remote swamps of Congo to the flanks of an active volcano in Guatemala. Whether trekking with Jane Goodall in search of chimps in Tanzania or tracking down the “Afghan Girl” in Pakistan, she learned to navigate not just difficult terrain, but the complex cultural dynamics of international production teams. As Vice President of Series Development, she developed and sold over $200M in content.
As Vice President of Global Content Production at Warner Bros. Discovery, Carrie designed and implemented comprehensive international partnerships that delivered millions in annual cost savings.
Earlier in her career, Carrie’s foundation in cross-cultural understanding was built through transformative experiences that taught her the power of cultural intelligence. Growing up in the multicultural city of Lowell, Massachusetts, studying abroad in Niamey, Niger, and leading health education campaigns in the local language during three years with the Peace Corps in Guinea, West Africa, she learned that successful collaboration across cultures requires more than good intentions – it demands cultural adaptability, patience, and genuine understanding.
Today, Carrie helps leaders and organizations develop the cultural intelligence needed to succeed in our interconnected world, providing the insights and strategies that turn cultural differences from obstacles into opportunities.
A Certified CQ Facilitator with the Cultural Intelligence Center, Carrie’s a summa cum laude graduate of Boston University’s undergraduate College of Communication and holds an MBA with distinction from Trinity College Dublin.
